GIVING WORDS TO IMAGINATION

Poems by Khushii Choudhary

A little girl dreaming

Limerick: Her Dreams

There is a girl in my class,

In dreams, her time pass.

So, once I asked,

with fingers she masked.

I could not get into her adventurous world, alas!

The plant I planted

My plant is small but it’s like a doll,

its bud is like a ball,

its small branches are as thin as pins,

and it seems like it grins.

And I hope it grows and with the wind it flows.

About the young poet:

My name is Khushii Choudhary. I am ten years old. I am in grade 5 and I study in Royal Global School. I have been studying there since LKG, and speaking of studies, my favourite subjects are Maths & English. I don’t have any such hobbies but I do like to paint, swim, read fantasy-fiction books and do art & craft. As I enjoy reading fantasy-fiction books, one of the books I like is “The Land of Flowers” written by “Thea Stilton”. I don’t have a particular favourite author. I like to watch funny and animated movies. The sports I like are swimming, badminton and table tennis. When I grow up I want to be a Fashion Designer or a Robotics Engineer.
