GIVING WORDS TO IMAGINATION

Poem: The Temples by Theva Enakshi Nareshkumar

temple poem

The Temples

Ding dong’ the bourdon rung,

In the church, it sung.

Clink clonk’ the bells tinked,

On the temple of flowers thee.

Dun don’ the drums boomed,

right on the Chinese temple.

Tweeonee’ the harmonium made,

As others hailed ‘Allah’ in a chorus of crowd.
